Unexpected events can occur suddenly, causing changes in how we work and leading to an increase in teleworking from home. We have experienced significant milestones where lifestyle and living styles have undergone profound changes.

Amidst these changes, we have come to realize the presence of enduring truths. One such truth is that people coexist with buildings.

Throughout history, we have built structures tailored to the local climate and environment, shaping societies and cultures. In Japan, buildings are not only adapted to the four seasons but also designed to withstand heavy snow in the north or withstand typhoons in the south. Buildings have been created to suit the local conditions.

In other words, buildings are not just about people's lives but also play a vital role in urban and social development.

At KYOWA Urban Design, we focus on three main areas: designing large-scale structures for major developers and construction companies, designing and constructing wooden houses with high safety, earthquake resistance, and functionality suitable for Japan's climate, and developing low-cost housing under the brand "Grand Blue" to effectively utilize idle land.

In all our endeavors, as architectural design experts, we prioritize designing living spaces that meet the needs of the people who use them, fostering communities formed by the people who gather there, and envisioning the future of the city itself from these locations.
